Azerbaijan's leading transport company BakuBus, together with the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, continues to improve transport services, increasing their accessibility for residents and visitors of the city.
Starting today, the H1 Airport Express route will operate 24/7, providing round-the-clock service between the airport and the center of Baku. Buses will depart every 20 minutes during the day, and at night – with an interval of 45 minutes.
Previously, the H1 bus route was available until 01:00 at night, which caused inconvenience for passengers arriving late. The extended work schedule will allow passengers to get to the city without hindrance at any time of the day, significantly improving the quality of their trip.
The route covers key transport hubs in Baku, such as the Koroglu hub and the 28 May metro station. Modern Neoplan buses serving this route are equipped with spacious luggage compartments, air conditioning and information screens, which makes the trip as comfortable as possible. The travel time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on the traffic.
The fare for the H1 route is 1.3 manats. Payment is possible using the BakıKart card, which is available for purchase at the airport, as well as through the M10 and Birbank mobile applications.
It is worth noting that the expansion of the H1 route schedule is aimed at improving the convenience and accessibility of transport services for all passengers, especially on the eve of such significant events as the Formula 1 Grand Prix and the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP29), which will be held in Baku in the coming months.
